Made It To Hong Kong
First post in Asia and so first off I’ve made it here safely. The flight was good except for the fact that there was a baby sitting beside me and I got back beats all day…so suffice to say I didn’t get much sleep. Don’t worry I was a trooper though and lasted until midnight as I write this entry.
Conrad Hong Kong
After getting picked up by Chantelle and settling into the Conrad (baller! – remember to collect the rubber ducky and Conrad bear) we set out to Tsui Wah Restaurant for a quick late lunch. The french toast was AMAZING.
Amazing Views From The Peak
From there we pretty much spent the rest of the day at the Peak. The tram was packed with people lining up and it felt like Shanghai World Expo all over again. Up at the top things were much more calm and watched the sunset over the city and also behind the mountain as well where the reservoir is. To close it off we watched the not-so-spectacular 8pm light show but that might’ve been because we weren’t at ground level near TST or waterfront near Wan Chai.
Closed off the evening with dinner at Tai Ping Koon. Most enormous and ridiculous souffle I have ever had and also very yummy chicken wings. Food coma.
- Before travelling anywhere remember to change the time on your camera to where you’re going. That way when you import it back in you don’t have to deal with doing a time shift or anything like that. I always used to forget but I learned my lesson.
