    Good for a short visit
The Marketplace is under construction and there are no restrooms for males. I have always loved going there but right now it is crowded as they work on the construction. The boat rides are still there. There is also some nice shops and places to eat.

    Great Atmosphere/Vibe
In a day early for a cruise so what better way than walk across the street from the Holiday Inn and spend the afternoon/evening walking the complex and taking in all the beautiful scenery. It was extra festive being St. Patrick's Day, with festivities on the water, bars buzzing with March Madness and the 82 degrees and sunshine. We spent a nice long afternoon at the Landshark Bar & Grill that we loved with their basketball specials. In the evening the place lights up and the Miami skyline around Bayside was fantastic and cruise ships are visible a short distance away at the port. Overall, there were hundreds of shops and restaurants, but the only negative was the limited breakfast options there the next morning. The only real sit down breakfast place wanted $28 for pancakes and $7 for juice. Not going to happen. They need to put something realistic for breakfast in here and if not please put a Wendy's in here for a good fast food breakfast under $10.

    Bayside Marketplace in Miami, Florida
During our two day visit to Miami pre cruise we enjoyed riding the metromover to Bayside Marketplace. It took about fifteen minutes to get to the entrance of the marketplace from our hotel. We were amazed at all the shops and restaurants. Prices were good and there were so many items available. The second day we went we ate at the Hard Rock restaurant and enjoyed that also. Great area to check out.

    Short visit. Somewhat unremarkable
A popular open-air shopping and entertainment destination. You can find everything from clothing and accessories to jewellery and souvenirs. There is a variety of dining options, mostly casual eateries. There are a few bars. Seems to be a popular destination for both tourists and locals (mostly tourists before / after cruising) with lively evening and night-time atmosphere. If you happened to be nearby then it is convenience. I would not travel any distance to come here though.

Always as good as I remember. You have to go en the big Ferris wheel. It takes 15 minutes the ride. It’s 20 dollars the ticket. The you can enjoy a very good pizza at Lombardi’s restaurant. And if you want more party, try Fat Tuesday’s and Margarita Ville

Great small shops and unique gifts
First time my husband and I visited the Bayside Marketplace. Great small shops and unique items and gifts everywhere. We didn't get a chance to visit all of the places, but we will definitely be back to explore more then next time in Miami. Looks like a fun place to shop and eat.

Lively place to visit and take a tour
Great place to pick up water cruise around the luxury homes. Commentary was good. Drinks available to purchase. Worth 90 minutes of your holiday. Bayside has a good variety of shops, eateries and craft stalls. Definitely worth a visit.

Good place to spend a day
Bayside is the standard outdoor mall with plenty of places to eat. Overall it's good for about a 1/2 of a day of activity that you can stretch in to a whole day with the attractions surrounding it. There are all of the normal touristy things to do right around the mall like the ferris wheel, ride the jet boats, tiki-bar, sunset cruises and so on. Overall, you'll have a good time if you do it right.

    Bayside Marketplace
Nice variety of shops and food venues available at the Bayside Marketplace. Within walking distance from many local hotels in the Biscayne Blvd area. But just beware of the extreme heat and humidity of Miami (especially during the day). So be cautious if you don't do well in the heat.

An extensive market place filled with shops and restaurants are along the Miami’s harbor front. The port of Miami is just about a mile away. From the airport, Bayside is under eight miles, a 15-minute Uber ride away. Bayside Park is close by and so is Miami’s famous boardwalk/sea walk area.

A giant banyan tree anchors the entrance to Bayside. This banyan tree is over 110 years old. The oldest USA banyan tree, though, is in Lahaina, Maui Hawaii. Nevertheless, this banyan tree does make a beautiful setting for photos. The Bubba Gump restaurant sits opposite the banyan tree.

It is at Bayside where you can pick-up bus tours and harbor tours. A food court is on the second floor southside. A small Starbucks is on the first floor.

Hooters sits in the middle of the complex with a number of other restaurants. The iconic restaurant, Hard Rock, has a large restaurant on the southside of the pavilion.

If you are in downtown Miami, you have the availability to take the “FREE” people-mover. You can get on or off at the Bayside station across the street. The new Brightline train is but five blocks away that can take you away to Ft. Lauderdale or even to West Palm Beach.

We arrived early for a concert at American Airlines Arena so we decided to dine at Bayside Market Place which is walking distance just South of the arena. Crossing the street to get there was a leap of faith as we prayed not to be run over. Once there, the place was overwhelmed with people queing in line for everything, including the bathrooms. As we walked around we noticed that dirty floors and smudged glass storefronts was the normal abnormal of this place. We were starving, so we tried three sit down restaurants, but two had very long waits. The third sat us down right away, but we found everything from tables to chairs to menus sticky. We decided to walk out and ate at the Five Guys Burgers, which seemed like the safest choice given the poor hygiene of the entire market place. Given our entire experience, we give Bayside Market Place and strong Not Recommended.

we arrived in Miami from the airport at 9 am too early to check-in at the hotel. There was 4 of us. So we went to bayside marketplace. they had shops street vendors sightseeing water activities it's a great way to spend free time we walked the shops stopped for lunch at landshark restaurant we had peel and eat shrimp i would say they were the large size and they were chilled with cocktail sauce and fried pickles they were the bomb. we had fish tacos it was 3 to a order the seafood combo that wasn't a large serving for the money, bbq burger was ok, and the crispy chicken sandwich and key lime pie for dessert we spent $102. for the 4 of us excluding the tip. then we went for a boat ride to south beach and the cost was $35. per person it was about a 20-30 minute ride the boat lets you off and comes back in a hour but the thing is where the drop you off its more of a boat dock no sandy beach all in all the day was over at 4:30 and we had a good day.

This place is great to occupy time before a cruise because it has retail accounts for things you forgot at home or adjust to the weather as we did to pouring rain. The eateries and bars are great and not that overly priced as you would expect. The seafood was excellent and it was like a party going on around you. If you are not in to spending money it is great to walk around the docks and also window shop. I saw a review that the place is a "Rip off" but I did experience that and I have seen enough tourist traps in my day traveling around the world. If you need RX there is a CVS across the street.

This place is perfect for a family or friends. Kids, adults and people of all ages will enjoy the live music and the view of the ocean as well as the boat tours, shopping and dining. Plenty of parking inside Bayside and also street parking available. Remember Bayside is by the ocean and located in Downtown Miami.
A really family friendly place to visit by locals and tourist.

Great little arcade in the quay. Lots of boat trips from here for sightseeing too. We went on a Sunday, there was a band playing salsa style music and lots of locals dancing in the sun to it. We had a take out cocktail and sat in the sun watching after the thriller Miami boat your. Lovely day and lovely atmosphere.

After many years of not going, I was downtown at another event. My date suggested we go to Bayside. When we got there we parked at the lot in Bayside. As we walked I noticed the majority of the people were the homeless that frequent the area. Along with them were the loud and obnoxious hood rats. There was a band playing live music that seemed like they could have played at a better venue. They were not to happy to be playing to the drunken homeless. I will not be going back on a Saturday night.

This was one of my favorite places in the mid 90s for shopping and dining with friends. While visiting for the first time in at least 15 years I was happy to "from a distance" see the development was still open but the closer we got, the scarier it got. I would categorize most of the crowd as undesirable, people that I'm not sure were even truly supporting the businesses as the crowd outside the stores and restaurants was bigger than those in and a crowd that clearly doesn't look at themselves in the mirror before going out in public. I would hate to use the word "sub-culture" but that's the cleanest I find to describe who frequents this place now. Walking through clouds of marihuana smoke is kind of the thing here too. Not sure if truly allowed or whether the staff just looks away and holds their breath from the nasty skunk as dealing with it may mean keeping a job somehow. Lombardis Italian Restaurant which I used to frequent is still there though it has clearly changed to stay up with the times and now has a Conga Bar with fun lively music. Not the Lombardi's I remember but all good. There's a Ferris wheel that didn't exist before and that was fun. Dirty and dingy with a false sense of safety given by the fact you hope nobody will do something stupid in front of the crowd. Not rushing back, perhaps will get better if I wait another 15 years to return. If Bayside Marketplace is in any way a reflection of where our country is going... Yikes!!

spent a day at this place, nothing special, very overpriced, probably due to tourism, the drink is $12 US, bear $6-8 US, the food court is very average and also overpriced for what they sell, best experience we had was we took the boat trip, $28US for 1.5 hours. From the airport we took Uber and it cost $18 one way. and also everyone expects/asking for a tip, even when it is included in the price :).
