I would have paid double for this device!!

I would have paid double for this device!!
This product was purchased after trying the Black rapid side camera sport sling, and the Cotton Carrier single camera harness. I used the camera sling on a trip to the Rocky Mountains last year. It worked ok, but after hours of hiking it was rubbing and irritating my neck, and causing some significant neck pain. I'd ask my boyfriend to carry my camera for me just to give my neck a break. I am about to travel to Yosemite for 7 days of camping and long hikes. I needed a new solution, so I first tried (based on the feedback) the Cotton Carrier harness. OMG - that torture device was NOT designed for women with any type of "chest area". I was about to give up until I saw this little contraption, the Peak Design CapturePRO. It's truly amazing!! It took a little time to figure out where to position it for the most comfort on my Osprey backpack, but after a few attempts, it makes very little contact with my sensitive "chest region" and has literally no pull on my neck or shoulders which is wonderful. I am even sending back the Propad, which I read in several reviews was a requirement to buy before you could even use the CapturePRO. This is NOT the case, folks. In my configuration, the Propad actually pressed into my should and chest, making it very uncomfortable - so it was not required. I have a fairly heavy Nikon D750 with a NIKKOR 24-120mm lens; all together about 8 pounds. Please view my pictures to see where I attached the CapturePRO for the most comfort. Also - I read some reviews that complains about not being able to slide the camera in and out very easily. That is because they haven't realized there is a black knob on top for adjusting the release mechanism. Once you lesson the tension, it slides in and out like a dream. The red release button also turns to lock the camera in place. The only way you are damaging your camera is if you fall flat on your face. This is a fabulous invention, and it's going to make carrying my camera on 10-15 miles hikes a breeze. I would have paid double for the CapturePRO to have a pain free hike with my camera!!!

Excelente

(Arca Swiss)
