We’re currently sitting at the Hong Kong T1 Airport right now with a good 4 hours to kill before we attempt standby again to Vancouver after the direct to Toronto failed so I thought it’d be a good chance to work on the second half of our Maldives trip. Here we go!
Day 14 – Thursday March 27, 2014
Thursday was one of the few days without morning dives so I thought it’d be a good opportunity to catch the sunrise. We then spent the afternoon at the main pool before our night dive to Rangali Outside.
Day 15 – Friday March 28, 2014
I get another 2 tank dive in on my own, we get moved to our water villa finally and enjoy a sunset from our jacuzzi.
Introducing Water Villa 318
Day 16 – Saturday March 29, 2014
We started off the day with a fantastic breakfast at Vilu since we were on the small island side now. The rest of the day was spent lounging around the adult’s only quiet zone pool before we were hit by some crazy rain. Despite this, our afternoon dive wasn’t cancelled and we were very happy about that. We kept the evening simple, eating at Rangali Bar before heading back to our villa.
Day 17 – Sunday March 30, 2014
Last full day at the Conrad!
Day 18 – Monday March 31, 2014
We were lucky enough to get a 4PM check out so we made the most of it by enjoying our water villa. After our seaplane back to Male, we got Conrad to recommend a local tour guide to take us into the main city which was quite eye opening.
10 days. 9 nights. 2 villas. 1 amazing vacation out to the Maldives with the Conrad. 2 much darker happy campers 🙂 To close the photo essay series off, check out how we spent the last week of our vacation in Hong Kong. If you missed the first part of the Conrad Maldives series, go here.
