Iceland Travel Guide
Just ridiculously pretty.
I was skeptical at first with the number of people that have been to Iceland in the past 5 years. Having seen the country with my own eyes, I can say that it is just as every bit as stunning and beautiful as they say it is, and more. From the dramatic basalt cliffs, steamy thermal pools, other worldly glaciers, mysterious Northern Lights (if you are lucky enough to catch them), thundering waterfalls, and natural wonders that dot the island, you'll be clamouring to see every inch. The only sad part is that you won't be able to.
This Iceland travel guide will help you plan your next vacation.

There’s no other country that is as hot as Iceland right now. It’s a country where a symphony of elements shine incredibly bright. It’s a land of thunderous waterfalls, death-defying cliffs, sweeping glaciers, magical puffins, the friendliest locals to name a few. Before you set off on your adventures though, you’ll inevitably need to visit […]

After our epic 8 day Iceland itinerary, here are […]
The aurora borealis is something that we’re all chasing after when we think about Iceland. It’s the northern dream so to speak. It waves, it dances, and it glows. Thing is, it glows a lot less than you picture in your mind. All the photos you see out there show the northern lights as this […]
I’m just going to put this out there. Iceland is ridiculously beautiful. There’s been a rise in tourism there and a ton of hype. Over these past 5 years, you couldn’t go on Facebook without seeing one of your friends sharing photos of Iceland. I needed to see for myself and now that I’m […]
I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I clicked on “Book” on the WOW Air website. There are no pretences that they’re as good as their national carrier but I quickly learned that they’re okay with that and they sure have fun with it. We jumped on WOW Air simply because they beat Icelandair when […]
Iceland has been on the bucket list for a long time now. A lot of it is honestly the amount of buzz and press this island nation has gotten these past couple of years. Not like it needs much advertising because the landscape speaks for itself. Having spent 8 days myself, I can now say […]
If you have any intention of seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland, there’s no question that you’re going to want to stay with Buubble aka Bubble Hotel. It’s an experience like no other that puts you in the middle of forest just outside of the main attractions of the Golden Circle. It’s just you and […]

Iceland has been on my radar for the longest time. A lot of it harkens back to my time living in Sweden and being able to see the northern lights from above the Arctic Circle. Ever since then, I’ve been itching to get another chance to watch the majestic aurora borealis dance in the sky. […]
