Hilton Corporate Codes
Hilton works with a number of large companies to offer their employees discounts for business or leisure vacation travel.
This is for those making hotel bookings with cash as opposed to how traditionally we’ve focused on how to smartly spend your points such as the best Hilton Category 1 hotels and saving up for aspirational resort stays at the Conrad Maldives.
Not a fan of Hilton but loyal to Marriott? Don’t worry, I have you covered with Marriott corporate codes Hyatt corporate codes, discounts for Best Western and IHG codes.
Read next: If you want to see them all together, we have a compilation of all and the best hotel corporate codes.
Can Anyone Use These Codes?
Simple answer: No
While similar to car rental corporate codes, what makes hotel corporate codes hard to use is that they are much more diligent about asking for identification to prove that you are associated to the company your code is for.
With car rentals you can get away with it as there’s no strong enforcement but with hotels it’s an 80% chance and up.
If you are affiliate with the company (employee, customer, vendor), you can take advantage of these negotiated rates.
Some say that in Asia, they check 100% of the time while in Europe and in North America they are less than 10% but that may be an urban legend. Ultimately, if you use these codes, chances are pretty high you’ll be asked for ID.
What Do I Need To Prove Affiliation With The Company?
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- A pass with the company name and picture
- A business card that includes your name and company
- An email address the hotel will confirm by sending you a confirmation

Special Hilton Corporate Discount Landing Pages
There are special landing pages for Hilton’s corporate partners and are intended to be used for employees of these companies for both business and leisure travel.
For those looking for this, the table has been removed at the request of Hilton.
Discount Codes For Everyone
There are luckily other ways to save money by using alternative Hilton coupon codes that are safer and easier to use if you’re eligible. Here’s a look at a few special programs.
MVP Program
There was a time when it was very easy to use the MVP rates.
Some have said that they sometimes still work so we’re still including it on this list as it was known to fetch a 20% discount.
The MVP code program was designed to entice people travelling with sports teams or for sporting events. This casts a pretty wide net and as a result, anyone more-or-less was able to use the code.
Here is who this program was intended for:
As a valued, coach, leader or participant of group travel for sports, we invite you to receive a discount off the best available rate at participating hotels in the Hilton portfolio. Find hotels above to get your team’s next trip started.
Please note: You must be an athletic administrator, athlete, or affiliated with a sports entity, sports-related company, sports group or event to be eligible. You will be asked to show credentials, such as an official business card designated with your team logo, etc.
Team USA Codes
There’s also the Team USA Hilton discount codes for those that are part of the national team.
Hilton Honors Discount
It’s always better to be a Hilton Honors members. We’ve found that the member rates are often very good.
In some cases, these Honors discounts can be better than any preferred rate via discount code.
Special promotions
Every quarter or so Hilton rolls out new promotions. For instance, right now there’s one called “Dream Away” and ironically the discount they’re offering is better than some of those corporate codes.
A promotion like this is positioned like this: “Hilton Honors members get up to 20% off in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and up to 30% off in Asia.”
Typically, promotions are geared towards Hilton Honors members so it’s a no brainer to sign up if you haven’t already yet.
Here are a few other promo codes that we’re aware of (may or may not still be active):
- Family Fun Promo Code – Use PBFFP1 or FP to get breakfast for 4, premium wifi and late checkout at participating Hilton Portfolio hotels worldwide.
- Leisure Escape Promo Code – Use promo code RPTVS1 or TVS and Get $50 daily credit for every night of your stay, at participating Hilton Portfolio hotels worldwide. Use your on-property credit for dining, shopping, relaxing, and more!

Check the latest Hilton deals
The first place you should always look to see what’s happening is the page below.
AAA, CAA, AARP, and Senior Discounts
Hilton allows you to apply and check discounts if you’re a AAA member. There are also discounts for AARP members, CAA, and if you’re a senior and don’t belong to any association.
Members save up to 15% and earn Honors points when booking with AAA or CAA rates. This also works internationally although the discount seems to reduce down to 10% off.
The AARP discount is 10%.
The senior discount rate is not as good at 5% off.
These are easy to check because in the reservation system, there are checkboxes explicitly for these under “Special Rates”.
Live in the US and not a member of AARP? It only costs $12 for your first year but $16/year normally. As long as you’re 50 and older, you purchase AARP membership. You can save 10% off the best available rate with Hilton.
Price Matching
Lastly, don’t forget that Hilton has their new Price Match Guarantee program.
If you find a better rate anywhere else including OTA’s like Booking.com for the same accommodation and terms at any point before your reservation is made or up to 24 hours after making your reservation through one of the official Hilton booking channels, they will honor the lower price and take an additional 25% off the room rate for each night of your stay.
The submission process is through an online claim form.
What About Gold Status?
While you won’t be able to get discounted rates with status, we know that many of you would love to have Hilton Honors Gold Status to be able to get the perk of free breakfast at some properties.
Currently, Gold status isn’t easy to get without obtaining it through stays but here’s a compilation of alternative methods:
- American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Card – If you’re in the US, you don’t just get Gold status, you get immediate Diamond Status.
- American Express Platinum Card – Whether you’re in Canada or the US, this card will give you Gold status for as long as you’re a cardholder.
- Status challenge – If you have premium status with Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, Best Western, and Choice, you can try Hilton Honors Gold status for 90 days.
- Winback Gold Status – Head to the Winback page where you can earn Gold Status if you complete 2 stays.
Gold status is definitely worth having so if you don’t have status, hopefully these will help you get over the top!

Travel Resources For Your Next Trip
If you’re in the process of planning your trip and putting together your itinerary, these are genuinely the best resources that the Going Awesome Places team stands by 100%.
Credit cards: Don’t get burned by hidden fees on top of terrible exchange rates. When we travel now, we use the Wise Card. Simply load it with the currency you need before you go and use it as a regular VISA or their digital wallet card. Use their free app to track how much you have and top up when you need to.
Flights: Of all the booking search engines, Skyscanner is the most helpful and easy to use thanks to their Everywhere feature. Kayak is also another that’s we will often check as well.
Car Rental: If you’re looking to save money, these car rental coupon codes will be a true game-changer. Otherwise, DiscoverCars and RentalCars are great places to start.
Airport Parking: You’ll need a spot to leave your car at the airport so why not book a spot at a discount. Use code AWESOME7 to get at least $5 off at Airport Parking Reservations or Park Sleep Fly packages.
Data: We’ve been a huge fan of wifi hotspot devices like PokeFi because their rates are so good and you can use it globally but recently, we’ve really loved using eSIMs. The best one is Airalo. Save money by getting region-specific eSIMs and use referral code WILLIA9500 to get $3 USD credit on your first purchase. Ubigi is another one that we’ve had success with where they uniquely offer 5G coverage. Use code AWESOME10 to save 10% on your first order.
Hotels: Our go-to is Booking.com because they have the best inventory of properties including hotels and B&Bs plus they have their Genius tier discounts. The exception is Asia where Agoda always has the best prices. TripAdvisor is also useful for reviews and bookings.
Vacation Rentals: Your first instinct will be to check Airbnb but we always recommend checking VRBO as well if you’re looking for a vacation rental.
Tours: When planning our trips, we always check both Viator and GetYourGuide to at least see what’s out there in the destination that we’re going to. They often have different offerings and prices so check both.
Travel Insurance: Learn how to buy the best travel insurance for you. This isn’t something you want to travel without.
- Insured Nomads – Popular insurance provider for frequent travelers and comes with great coverage and special perks.
